Bumped into these amazing Cat Illustrations a few weeks back, created by Rihards Donskis. All I can say is “Amazing”. Love the style of illustration work and the way the images are so moody with a limited use of color. The cats images below feature dark cats contrasted against fantastic surreal backdrops, kittens playing on ice and the cutest cat portraits. Love the way the artist uses an almost Manga style on the eyes.

Love the style of the Manga Cats eyes on this one, great contrast against the almost scribble style of the background and cats body.

A very stylised Cat, again love the simplicity of the highlights and the focus in the cats eyes.

This ones my favourite, love the contrast between the blues in the background and the cat and just think the composition of the illustration really works for me.

Love the lack of detail on the actual cat and they way that and the background pulls focus to the cats eyes, highlights are good as well.

The last one in this set featuring a cute black kitten staring through ice, watching… Again love the simple illustration style used and the focus on the eyes.
